Chapter 4

Mark sat in his changing room swinging his leg like naughty school boy who was in trouble, his arms where folded and he mumbled under his breath. “ How the fuck, could he be like this? Why does he always have to be the good boy?”. Mark mumbled and moaned about what Gary did. “ Get out Mark, get out, blah blah BLAH!”
“Mark?” Came a voice from the other side of the door. “Are you okay?” It was Gary.
“Go away Gary, i'm not going to talk to you!” Mark responded angrily.
“Can we talk?” Gary knocked on the door.
“Gary go away! And stop knocking on the door.” Mark shouted back.
Gary continued to knock on the door. After a few minutes the knocking had stopped, Mark put his head in his hands, and out along depressed sigh. The knocking started again, Mark lifted his head up, he was so anger that Gary wouldn't leave him alone, Mark stood up and flung his changing room door open. “ Gary i said go away!” Mark was shocked to find Robbie at the door. “Oh Rob... I thought it was...”
“Is everything okay Mark?” Robbie looked at Mark he had so much anger in his face, he wasn't the sweet hyper 39 year old who acted like a 5 year old.
“Erm... Yeah i'm fine just had a little argument with Gary... it's fine” Mark tried to smile, and he tried to get rid of his anger.
“But... Mark, Gary isn't talking he seems really upset.” Robbie was acting like the older concerned brother.
“Yeah Rob, i'm fine. I'm going to go and get changed, get a big night ahead of us.” Mark forced out a smile, and rubbed Robbie's arm. Mark shut the door and sat back down, he really needed to sort this out with Gary, and most of all he had to apologise, he felt something for Gary he really did and it would break his heart to say that he was only joking. Mark started to get changed after he was changed he'll go and talk to Gary.

Mark placed on his last item of clothing, it was his blue trousers with a red stripe up the sides, he sorted his flopping fringe out. Mark gave out a sigh and opened his door to go and find Gary. He reached a door with said in big letters “Gary Barlow's dressing room!” And next to it was a little piece of paper saying “Grumpy” which it then read “Grumpy Gary Barlow's dressing room!” It was obviously Robbie's handwriting. Mark giggled to himself, and he gave a gentle knock on Gary's door. No answer. He knocked again. “Gaz...? It's Mark. Mark spoke softly. The sound of the lock on the door opening and there stood Gary in his tour outfit, Mark couldn't keep his eyes off him. “Gary... Can we talk?” Mark looked into Gary's eyes, they looked red as if he'd been crying.
“Erm... yeah come in mate” Gary cleared his throat and gave Mark a gentle smile.
Mark stood in Gary's dressing room.”Did you see the sign on your door what Rob did.” Mark tried to cheer Gary up. Gary looked at the sign and smiled.
“Typical Rob!” Gary looked at Mark.
“Um... Gary have you been... crying?” Mark looked concerned at Gary.
“Yeah, i'm fine Mark.” Gary patted Mark's arm.
“I'm sorry what happened earlier... I was messing about you know me i'm always joking about.” Mark bit his lip, he hated himself for lying he wanted to tell Gary what he felt. “I think it's just nervous and that's what happened i'm so sorry it wont happen again.”
Gary looked into Mark's eyes he knew he was lying but he said nothing. “It's okay Mark.” Gary smiled again. “Well it looks like we better go and get the lads, it's almost time!”
“Yeah exciting isn't it!” Mark shone Gary will that trademark smile of his.
Gary gave Mark a hug, which made Mark's heart throb in his chest. “What was that for?” Mark smiled and looked confused.
“Just to say sorry for shouting at you earlier.” Gary walked out the door. “Come on then Marko lets goooo!” Gary punched the air, and went into the room where the other boys were waiting.
Mark leant against Gary's dressing room door, held his chest, took a deep breath and smiled. “Wow!” He whispered.”I feel like a fan who's just met Gary Barlow!” Mark followed Gary into the room.
