Mark stared at Gary, looking at his beautiful white smile, which sent flutters in Mark's stomach, Mark had no idea why, he rested his head on his hand, and carried on staring at Gary. Robbie raised his hand, and waved Mark over, Mark shook his head to get out his trance, Robbie waved Mark over again to join him and Gary to their conversation, but Mark just lifted his glass as to say that he's okay, he's enjoying his drink, and that he's relaxing on his own. Robbie smiled at Mark, nodded his head, and carried on his conversation with Gary.
Mark got his mobile out his back pocket, he needed something to distract him, so he wasn't staring at Gary, he didn't want to creep Gary out. Mark flicked through a few photos, until he came to a picture of him and Gary on holiday together about a year ago, both wearing shorts and vest tops standing in front of the beautiful blue sea, Mark smiled, and rubbed his thumb over the picture on his phone. A dark shadow hovered above Mark's head, and a voice come from it.” Oh looking at old memories are you?” Mark quickly clicked off the photo, and his head shot up to see who was standing over him. It was Gary, he was smiling, and was looking at Mark.
Erm... Yeah... Need something to do to pass the time... Where's Rob gone?” Mark looked over at the sofa where Robbie and Gary sat.
“He's gone out for a ciggy. How are you Markie, you seem quiet, everything okay?” Gary sat on the arm of the chair which Mark was sat in.
“ Yeah i'm fine... just worried about the show and all.” Mark needed to say something so he thought of something obvious.
“Don't worry Marko i'll look after you.” Gary grinned, and gave Mark a hug. It sent even more flutters in Mark's stomach, he started to get a little hot, and sweat trickled down his neck, Mark wrap his free hand which wasn't holding his glass around Gary for a few seconds, until Gary let go of Mark.
“Mark? Are you okay, your sweating i'll go and get a doctor.” Gary stood up off the chair arm and went to go to the door.
“No wait!” Mark grabbed Gary's arm. “I'm fine, it's just nervous... I promise you I'm fine.” Mark smiled at Gary, his blue eyes twinkled.
“If your sure.” Gary sat back down , and wiped some sweat off Mark's forehead, Mark closed his eyes for a few seconds, he didn't want Gary to stop, he was feeling things about the older man, feeling Mark could explain.
“Gary erm... i need to tell you something.” Mark opened his eyes, and stared up at Gary, who still had his hand on Mark's forehead.
“What is it mate?” Gary looked down at Mark, fixing his eyes with Mark's.
“Erm... I don't know how to say this.” He whispered so that Jason and Howard wouldn't hear. “I-I...” Mark couldn't get his words out, he was soon interrupted when the door slammed open, and there stood Robbie, with a cigarette still in his mouth, all four heads shot round to Robbie.
“Hey lads... you gotta see this i think it's a UFO! Robbie bounced up and down like a five year old.
“I bet it's a plane again Rob.” Howard joked.
“Oh yeah, remember that, when we were at the air port, it was kinda obvious.” Jason smiled.
“Gaz come look you believe me right?” Robbie grabbed Gary's arm and pulled him to look at this “UFO” (or more believable a plane)
“I'll talk later Mark unless it's really important?” Gary shouted while being pulled away by Robbie.
“Yeah... don't worry about it... it's not important.” Mark shouted back, he sighed and got comfy in his chair, thinking about what he had been feeling, and tried to work it out in his head.
